Special Events

You're Invited!

Inver Grove Height's Parks & Recreation strives to provide a variety of fun and engaging special events to connect our community members to one another, keep our community active, provide a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors and share the many great amenities and features the City and Parks & Rec has to offer!

Interested in sponsoring an IGH Parks & Rec-led event?

Sponsoring an event or program hosted by Inver Grove Heights Parks & Recreation allows your business to connect with the City’s residents in a unique and beneficial way. We would love to partner with you. Please contact Julie Dorshak at jdorshak@invergroveheights.org or 651-450-2588 to discuss how we can build a stronger community — together!

Weather Impacts to city-led programs and events

IGHs Weather Hot Line (651-450-2595) is the only place to check the status for city-led program and events due to inclement weather. We strive to update by 4:30 p.m. After hours, it is up to the coaches and instructors to make the final decision.
