In 2017, the City hired Five Bugles Design to provide Architectural Services and complete the Final Design for the new Fire Station #2. That process is complete, and the Construction Documents are being finalized. At the January 2018 City Council Work Session, the City Council directed the City Administrator to explore hiring an Owner’s Representative to review the bid package, assist in coordination of the bidding and oversee construction of the fire station through to completion. The attached Request for Proposals is seeking individuals or companies interested in providing professional services to serve as the City’s Representative for this construction project. A proposed timeline is provided in the RFP for Review of the RFPs, possible Interviews with finalists, selection and Start of Services. It is expected that the Selection of the Proposer will b brought back to the City Council for approval at your June 11, 2018 City Council meeting. Once a Proposer has been approved by the City Council and contract awarded, a timeline for bidding of the project will be determined.
