Inver Grove Heights Fastpitch Softball
If your daughter is looking for the next level of softball, check out Inver Grove Heights Fastpitch Softball. This program is coordinated by the Inver Grove Heights Softball Federation which is a competitive, traveling program serving girls ages 6 to 16. Fastpitch SB is generally the most competitive form of softball and is the same sport you see in HS and college competition.

The objective is to develop
highly competitive teams with a strong emphasis on player development, commitment, sportsmanship, team work, and knowledge of the game.  It includes weeknight practices, league games, and tournaments on select weekends.  The summer season runs from April through July, with practices and some weekend tournaments.  Girls do the pitching themselves beginning at age 9-10; younger girls are coach pitched or use a pitching machine.  Players are grouped based upon their age as of December 31 of the prior year and play at five levels;
  • 8U (6-8 years old)
  • 10U (9-10 years old)
  • 12U (11-12 years old)
  • 14U (13-14 years old)
  • 16U (15-16 years old)
