Squads
The Squad Vehicle
These vehicles are primarily used by the chief's staff and other firefighters for transportation to training classes, meetings, and other tasks requiring travel. Although equipped with a small set of equipment, such as basic life support tools, first aid supplies, and a fire extinguisher, the chief's staff vehicles are not typically dispatched to fire, medical, or other emergencies. However, the chief, assistant chief, or captain who will be in charge of a scene sometimes responds to a call for service using a staff vehicle.
