The senior club is a group that offers cards and monthly luncheons. Membership is $8 for the year of discounts on Club activities organized by volunteer members. Membership cycle runs Jan-Dec. Club activities are held at Veterans Memorial Community Center, Community Room 2.
Note: You do not have to be a senior club member to do other programs, events and activities.
Monthly Luncheons with Entertainment

Please note some trips are planned in collaboration with other communities and include additional pick-up sites. (where you register is where you board the bus). Please arrive 15-20 minutes before listed trip departure time. To register for trips and to depart from Inver Grove Heights, please visit the Parks and Recreation Office. Please note: no refunds will be issued after the registration deadline.
Arrive at Millner Heritage Vineyard & Winery near Kingston, MN. This European style winery was designed, built and is operated by the Millner family. Board a trolley pulled by a vintage tractor and learn about the process of developing the eight varieties of cold, hearty grapes in high quality wines. Lunch is buffet: entrée, salad, potato or rice, bread, coffee and cookie.

Lights Tour of St. Paul
Arrive in St. Paul for a meal service at Cherokee Tavern for small sirloin or chicken, tossed salad, baked potato, rolls, beverage and dessert. Then depart to meet a local guide who will give you a tour of St. Paul bathed in Christmas lights. View Rice Park surrounded by Saint Paul Hotel, Landmark Center, Ordway and The Downtown Library. The entire block draped in twinkling lights features St. Paul's official Christmas tree, then continue to drive along Summit Avenue to view the beautiful mansions aglow celebrating the season.

DRIVER SAFETY: 55 PLUS CLASS
A state approved accident prevention and insurance discount course taught by the MN Highway Safety & Research Center. Persons age 55 and older who complete the course qualify for a 10% discount on their auto insurance premiums for three years.
4-Hour Refresher: August 14, Sept 11, Sept. 19, Nov. 13 or Dec. 11: 1-5pm

The Senior Law project offers free legal assistance and referrals to anyone age 55 and better. Attorney Kathleen Eveslage will be available to answer questions. Appointments are required. Please call the 651-224-7301 to reserve your appointment.

METRO DINING CLUB CARDS
Boxes will be available for sale for $25 starting September 10. Each box includes over 165 discount cards to restaurants in the St. Paul area, many of which offer an opportunity to enjoy 2 for 1 dining. Boxes are sold at the Parks and Recreation Office and at The Grove Guest Services Desk.

ASK AN OFFICIAL SERIES:
This series brings in local officials to discuss current projects and initiatives. The goal of the program is to encourage engagement through questions and open conversation about local issues. A light brunch including quiche, fruit, coffee and muffins will be provided however participants can attend for free if they prefer not to eat.
