Parks & Rec maintains 28 parks with scenic views, miles of paved and unpaved trails, and many amenities including playgrounds, fishing piers, sledding hills, outdoor rinks, basketball and volleyball courts, tennis and pickleball courts, warming houses and pavilions, parking, restrooms, BBQ pits, Disc Golf Course, Off-leash Dog areas and much more. Whether you are looking for a great trail, playground, volleyball court or fishing, Inver Grove Heights Parks has it. We are dedicated to keeping your many parks beautiful and enjoyable.
Safety: We care deeply about the safety of our IGH community members and visitors. We and our vendors follow several guidelines and regulations (ASTM, CSPC and ADA safety and accessibility standards) when building amenities in our parks, including our playgrounds. Learn more.

|Swimming||No swimming in a body of water adjacent to or within a park through a public park|

|Weapons||Weapons can't be possessed in a public park unless you have a conceal and carry permit|
Things to do in the Parks
Our many parks offer great cold weather activities to get you outside this winter and keep that cabin fever at bay.
- Skate at any of the 5 Outdoor Ice Rinks - check the schedule for the 2019-20 winter season
- Sled at South Valley’s Sliding Hill: 2810 70th St. E.
- Bring your pup to the Dog Park at Heritage Village Park – open Year Round - don’t forget your Dog Park Pass!
- Cross Country Ski at Inver Wood Golf Course: 1850 70th St.

- Hike/Snowshoe our many miles of trails (including at Inver Wood Golf Course)
